We had Zach's kindergarten orientation Tuesday night. We met with his teacher, delivered all his school supplies and did some fun activities. Then the kids were taken for a tour of the school, a school bus ride, and a snack (so they could practice punching in their lunch code in the cafeteria) while the parents had a meeting. Zach made a new friend and saw an old friend from soccer on the bus ride. There isn't anyone he knows in his class, but I saw a few parents I've met.
It's starting to hit home that he will actually be going to school next week!
