We had Jake's open house at school Wednesday night. We met his second grade teacher, Mr. Churchill. We got to check out his classroom and desk, drop off his school supplies, and do a couple of fun activities. He knows several kids in his class from previous years, but neither of his best neighbor buddies are in the same class. We were sent home with paperwork to fill out and a little "getting to know you" assignment.
I'm afraid the end of the summer is here.
