Thursday we drove a big loop that took us through the portion of Montana devestated by a 7.1 earthquake in 1959. We saw Quake Lake, that was created when the mountain collapsed onto a river. Then we drove to Virginia City, an actual ghost town of the late 1800's. It had all the original old time buildings. We even had an old west family photo taken!
Our drive took us through what I pictured as typical Montana - huge rolling cattle ranches. We saw a huge big horned sheep and a herd of prong horns on our drive too.
