The five of us headed north to my sister Carol's house for Thanksgiving dinner.
On the way, we stopped by my friend Sonya's house to meet her new baby girl Margaret. She is SO beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't get going early enough (story of my life) to stay long, but it was nice to see them.
We had a yummy dinner at Carol's, with her family and my brothers Jim and Dave. The past couple of years the number of people at Thanksgiving has been shrinking. For a normal family holiday when Mom and Dad are home we have about 40 people, give or take. This one was ten for dinner, then four more stragglers later. It's funny how 14 people can seem like a small gathering!
We made it home just in time to get the kids ready for bed.
We are NOT heading out to the stores for black Friday...Jay is working and I can't think of anything more unappealing than heading to crazy crowded stores with the three kids! We're going to enjoy a rare day when we don't have to go anywhere...ahh!
