We had a really nice Thanksgiving. My sister Carol drove down Wednesday afternoon (since Rick ended up having to work on Thanksgiving day). We made Mom's stuffing together after the kids went to bed, and were both up before everyone getting the turkey stuffed and in the oven. It was a lot more fun together! My brother Jim and his kids also drove down, and Cathy & Brian came too (Stan was in Pennsylvania). Cathy brought tons of food, and Carol made pies so we had a delicious dinner. It was so nice not to have the long drive up north and back. We missed Mom & Dad, but they called and everyone had a chance to talk to them.
The kids are enjoying their NINE days off school! Lots of lazy days. Yesterday I took the boys to see the movie Tangled. It was really cute, and we all loved it.
