Orchestra Hall

Saturday Cathy & I went to see our niece Jade's concert at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis. She auditioned for the Minnesota All State Choir last year and was selected from singers all over the state for their Women's Choir. It was a wonderful performance and they did such a great job! It was really neat to see her perform at such a prestigious venue.

Sunday Jake was invited to go with his friend Tanner's family to the Minnesota Wild hockey game. They had seats in a suite - Jake was so excited, he called home twice during the game to tell us about it! The Wild didn't win, but it was a really exciting game to watch. It was tied and went into over time, tied at the end of over time, and he got to watch a shoot out for the win!

The kids are off school today for President's Day. We ended up getting a lot of snow last night and today. I'm guessing close to a foot! Jake and Zach are out shoveling during nap time. :)
